Meet The Team
Christopher Blackmon
Creative Director
Christopher Blackmon has been writing and producing musicals for young people for the last 20 years. He is a graduate of the Jazz Composition program at the Ohio State University and a Master of Teaching and Learning program at Trevecca Nazarene University. He spent 10 years in youth and children’s ministry and 10 years teaching music in Metro Nashville Public Schools. His music has been featured in theatrical productions from S. Korea to New Zealand to Canada to Norway, and all throughout the U.S. He is a contributing writer/producer for Quaver’s Marvelous World of Music, an innovative online music education program that has been adopted as the primary curriculum in several states.
Chris is the Creative Director of Character Matters Music Group.
Meghan Womack
Administrative Director
Meghan is a vocal artist living in Nashville, TN. She trained classically at Belmont University as a part of her Music Ed., Vocal Licensure degree. Meghan is a former Music Educator.
Stephen Blackmon
Graphic Designer
Stephen Blackmon is the acting president and creative director of Consuming Fire Inc., a marketing and media company in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Blackmon is a published author and gifted communicator across multiple media platforms. He is the former chief editor of two magazines (one literary, one commercial). Before starting CFI he served as the public relations and media manager for one of the East Coast’s fastest growing Christian ministries. There he oversaw all advertising, professional quality audio and television production and multiple website, print and multi media publications.
Blair Perry
Performer
Blair is an educator. She received her masters and teaching license from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. Blair recently made the move to Atlanta to continue her teaching career as well as her singing and acting career.
Adam Wirdzek
Video Editor
Adam has more than 20 years experience in video production and the entertainment industry. He has created content and managed projects for happy clients of the widest variety. Adam makes incredibly catchy and educational music videos for kids of all ages with his company, Elektro Kids.
Ernie Gilkes
Legal Counsel
Gilkes is an attorney with over 14 years of experience in the legal profession. Gilkes' practice focuses on civil litigation and compliance. He has experience handling cases involving business law, construction litigation, breach of contract, tort, probate administration and litigation, and divorce. Gilkes is the co-founder of the Covenant Law Group, PLLC, located in Brentwood, Tennessee. Gilkes is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Tennessee Association for Justice, and the Nashville Bar Association. Gilkes lives in Nashville with his wife and two children.
Colton Gibbs
Music Copyist
Colton is a graduate of MTSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He has served as a music transcriber, copyist, and arranger for seasoned, music-city industry veterans. He’s a Nashville native and is an active pianist and percussionist in the local music scene.
Andy Morris
Director of Photography
Andy has worked in the video industry in Nashville for the past 25 years. He owned a video production company for most of that time, and continues to work with clients to deliver video production, photography, and graphic design services. Andy lives in Nashville, TN with his wife and 4 kids.
Vanessa Thomas
Lesson Integration Specialist
Vanessa is a dedicated educator proudly serving as a Literacy Teacher Development Specialist (LTDS) for Metro Nashville Public Schools. She specializes in balanced literacy instruction, classroom management, social emotional learning, assessment, and data analysis. She lives with her family in the heart of the Music City, where she enjoys volunteering, going to the movies, strolling in the park, and exploring everything our beloved city has to offer.
